Introduction

You finished the last unit with keeping a Spending Diary - were you surprised by how much you spend?  Could you see anywhere you could get better value out of your money?
In this unit, we'll be looking at money coming in and money going out.  At the end of the unit, you will:

• Understand some different sources of income 
• Know the various ways money is spent, and how spending can be reduced

You will be asked to take part in a lot of discussion - this is a good opportunity for you to share your wisdom with your group and to learn from them.
